Couplers

Vapour couplers allow for vapour transfer between tanker trucks and loading/unloading tanks.

Liquip's vapour couplers automatically open when connected to a compatible vapour adapto and automatically seal when disconnected.

Can be supplied with 75mm or 100mm bore.

Features & Benefits
  • Will operate at flow rates up to 10,000 litres per minute at 20oC (4 compartments loading each at 2,500 LPM).
  • Low pressure drop.
  • Unique hinged poppet design provides lower pressure drops than standard poppets at high flows rates.
  • Spring loaded poppet retains vapours until coupled to the male vapour adaptor.
  • Automatically opens and closes when connected to male adaptor.
  • Universal 4" (100mm) camlock connection.
  • 75mm or 100mm bores for flow are avaliable.
  • 75mm variant has a 100mm hose tail.
  • Sighglass as standard on 100mm version to show vapour condensation.

VCF075W (75mm Version)

Complies with AIP CP6
25mm poppet travel.
Open area = 4550mm² (equal to Ø76mm hole)
Poppet opens between 4 to 6 kPa vacuum for tank protection
Selectivity counter-bore provided as AIP CP6

VCF500 (100mm Verison)

100mm (4”) bore all through for minimum pressure drop.
Not compatible with AS5602 / AIP CP6 compliant vapour adaptors.

Comes fitted with a 4" Dunny flap.

NOTES: VCF500 is not suitable for use with AS5602 compliant vapour adaptors which require interference selectivty counterbore on the vapour couplers. (use VCF075W).
